Four researchers record their perceptions as they walk along the BR-116 highway in the section that crosses Canoas, in Rio Grande do Sul, looking for people whose lives are connected to the highway. BR-116, Brazil's longest highway, crosses 10 states and connects Fortaleza to the city of Jaguarão, in Rio Grande do Sul, on the border with Uruguay, but not before passing through Canoas and, like a fissure, dividing the city in two.
